Course Description:
Overview of the Protective Factors
In this webinar, we will begin with a high-level overview of the Five Protective Factors designed for child and family- serving professionals. During this session, your facilitator will discuss each protective factor and provide strategies for practical application. This session is appropriate for all levels of Protective Factors knowledge or experience and is presented in an engaging lecture format.
In this engaging lecture-format webinar we will:
- Review the five protective factors that help keep families strong and prevent child abuse and neglect.
- Identify key strategies and concrete everyday actions that help families build protective factors.
- Explore what it means to work with families in a strength-based way.
- Share Protective Factors resources for providers and families.
REGISTRATION NOTES
- This is a webinar-style training. This means that you will not be on camera and will not be able to see other learners. This training will not include breakout rooms. Opportunities to interact with the presenter and other participants will be included.
- This session will be recorded. A link will be available to registered learners within two days of the webinar.
