Course Description:

MAA Training

In an effort to comply with State and Federal requirements, all FIRST 5 funded grantees whose salaries are paid 10% or more in their FIRST 5 budgets are to participate in MAA related activities. “MAA participants” are to be trained prior to the start of FY 17/18. If you have identified staff within your organization that is funded by FIRST 5 beginning July 1, 2017 (FY 17/18), they are to attend this training. Participants need to attend one training session; however, you are welcome to stay for another training if you feel you need more support.

This is a mandatory training; as you know, FIRST 5 and its grantees rely on MAA reimbursement to offset FIRST 5’s declining revenue. This ensures on-going sustainability.  This is an annual training required by the State and Federal government in order to ensure MAA compliance.
