During this highly-interactive workshop, you will develop an action plan through small group discussion and activities about Knowledge of Parenting and Child Development. This session will require that you participate in discussion.

In this interactive workshop we will:

• Review how Knowledge of Parenting and Child Development helps keep families strong and prevents child abuse and neglect.
• Brainstorm strategies and develop an action plan for concrete everyday actions that help families build Knowledge of Parenting and Child Development.
• Discuss in small groups what it means to build Knowledge of Parenting and Child Development with families in a strength-based way.
• Share Protective Factors resources for providers and families.
