Introduction to DC: 0-3R Developmentally Based Diagnosis of the Mental Health and Developmental Disorders in Infancy and Early Childhood

This is an introduction to the DC: 0-3R Developmentally Based Diagnosis of the  Mental Health and Developmental Disorders in Infancy and Early Childhood diagnostic manual.  DC: 0-3R™ responds to the need for a diagnostic system that accounts for the unique developmental and relational needs of infants in the context of their families. The newly revised manual offers clarified diagnostic criteria, revised diagnostic guidelines, and user-friendly checklists and rating scales. Participants will discuss the unique developmental needs of very young children and apply clinical reasoning in developing diagnoses using clinical videotapes and/or print case examples.
NOTE:  You are encouraged to purchase your own DC:0-3R manual. It is available for about $21 through Amazon.com at this link (you may need to copy it onto your browser):  http://www.amazon.com/Diagnostic-Classification-Developmental-Disorders-...
If you are unable to purchase your own copy, we will have limited copies for participants to browse through during the training. However, this book is a useful resource for your professional practice.
