Participants will develop a common understanding of children’s growth and development its relationship with school readiness with special emphasis on oral language development and early literacy; learn how to apply developmentally appropriate practices in working with young children; explore ways to partner and further engage families in children’s learning; and integrate early childhood curriculum, models and evidence-based practices.
