Successful Strategies for Managing Challenging Behaviors in Young Children with Disabilities

Dr. Anjileen Singh of Children’s Health Council will be leading us in a presentation on the connection between emotional development and challenging behaviors in children under 5. She will focus on how specific disabilities affect this connection and will discuss strategies for identifying, understanding, and developing techniques to address the challenging behaviors and promote alternative, appropriate behaviors. Professionals and parents alike will come away with valuable information and strategies to support this population. The training will be targeted to the needs of FIRST 5 therapeutic service providers and early educators but is open to all other interested professionals and parents.
