Social Thinking and Special Needs: Helping Young Children
This workshop will focus on strategies used by the social thinking method to successfully intervene with and address the challenges faced by young children (0-5) with high functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Disorder and Nonverbal Learning Disorder, among others. Both professionals and parents alike will come away with valuable information and tactics that can be applied to help support these children. The training will be targeted to the needs of FIRST 5 therapeutic service providers and early educators but is open to all other interested professionals and parents.

Certificates of attendance are issued for LMFTs, LCSWs at the end of each series indicating hours earned against the Infant-Family Early Childhood Mental Health Guidelines. CEUs available.
