Description:

On April 24, 2013, the Office of Minority Health introduced the new, expanded 15 National Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS) Standards.  The new standards are intended to set expectations and structures so that organizations are well prepared to meet the cultural needs of diverse communities and populations. Organizations must comply with the CLAS standards to be eligible for federal funding through the Affordable Care Act.
