Course Description:

Developing & Nurturing Bilingualism In Your Children with Special Needs

In this highly interactive workshop, Dr. Langdon will cover information regarding the development and maintenance of bilingualism in young children. She will dispel the myth that children with special needs should not be exposed to two languages because they cannot “handle” two languages and she will emphasize the important role played by parents, families, and the community in this process.

This workshop is free. Pre-registration is required. Certificates of attendance are issued to professionals at the end of each series indicating hours earned against the Infant-Family Early Childhood Mental Health Guidelines. CEUs available.
