A significant undercount of young children in the 2020 Census could result in a loss of funding for education, childcare and other services children and families need to grow and thrive.  As trusted messengers in the community, early childcare educators and community workers are in a good position to help with Census efforts. Many early childcare educators and community workers are already in regular contact with many hard-to-count populations and can offer help in multiple languages.
