Transtioning from Early Start to Preschool
In this training, we will be identifying both required elements for transition and recommended practices to support families and their children as they successfully navigate the transition from Early Start to other services at age 3. We will briefly review how a child qualifies for Early Start and its services, and then delve into the transition practice. We will also review the systems and services available for children at age 3, and the different qualifications for each. Participants will come away with practical knowledge on how they can support families whose child is turning 3.

This Zoom webinar is offered for FIRST 5 Partners and other local professionals such as Social Workers, Home Visitors, Childcare and Preschool providers, Family Resource Center staff, and Therapeutic Service Providers. Parents are also welcome.
