Interventions, Tips, and Strategies for Young Children on the Autism Spectrum

Please join us for this innovative training led by Dr. Maria Elena De Anda, Ph.D., Bilingual Clinical Psychologist in the Behavioral Pediatrics Department at Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital. Dr. De Anda has over 15 years of experience assessing, diagnosing, and working with families of children on the Autism Spectrum.  Her presentation will be the most helpful for professional community-based providers.  She will provide an over-view of red flags for Autism, changes in the DSM-V for Autism Spectrum Disorders, working with community service providers regarding formal diagnostic assessment and treatment modalities.  Questions will certainly be welcome and encouraged! 

This training is free. Pre-registration is required. CEUs are issued for LMFTs, LCSWs indicating hours earned against the Infant-Family Early Childhood Mental Health Guidelines. Certificates are available upon request.
