Course Description: 

ADVANCED REFLECTIVE PRACTICE WORKSHOP

This workshop will build on your current reflective practice skillset as a strategy for enhancing your growth as a reflective practitioner and an Infant-Family Early Childhood Mental Health provider. A focus on examining our reactions when working with families, staff and others will be examined. Understanding the emotional context of experiences and ways to expand our reflective capacity will be covered. This workshop is an
advanced level workshop and builds on the following concepts related to reflective practice: cultural interchange, neurobiology, reflective facilitation, behavioral cueing, parallel process and ethical issues.
 
 

Additional Information: 

This training is for individuals who already have basic training in reflective practice and are endorsed or on the pathway to endorsement as an IFECMH practitioner. It is a prerequisite of this training to have already taken an introductory workshop on reflective practice.
